Our Story
We (Joni & Chris) are a married couple celebrating life's adventures everyday. Gypsy Mercantile was created to bring local artists and unique items to new audiences in a fun and unexpected way.
Our love for art and antiques influences the items we choose to display and sell.
Whether you chose a leather briefcase, a pair of gemstone earrings, a martini shaker or maybe a pair of cat ears we hope that it is part of your wonderful!
Nora ( our bus) started her life as a city bus. We bought her in Florida and drove 1256 miles back to KC. Chris had never driven a bus so that was our first adventure with her.
All work to create what you see now was done by us. We wanted the exterior to remined you of a mid century travel trailer and the interior to make you feel as though you stepped into a gypsy caravan.
